About Poppy Ranch Goodies

Poppy Ranch Goodies is a home-based cottage kitchen bakery.

We are Mel and Jordan, thank you and welcome! Mel is from Berlin, Germany and Jordan is a Southern California native.

Bread and baked goods are a way of life in Germany, and due to the difficulty in finding real German baked goods in Southern California, Mel decided she had to start baking her own. Jordan and other friends and family all loved them so much, we insisted Mel had to start baking for others as well. Thus, Poppy Ranch Goodies was born! We love to connect to people through sharing an important piece of German culture, delicious baked goods.

Poppy Ranch is our little slice of the desert in beautiful Twentynine Palms, California. Named after our amazing first dog (our child), Poppy.
